T.J. Karanasios, PT, MBA has been in clinical practice since 1990. He graduated from the University of New England school of Physical Therapy. He immediately began practicing at the same time as commencing his Masterís Degree in Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University.
Over the years he has specialized in the field of orthopedic sports medicine. He is an active member of the New Hampshire chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association. T.J.'s expertise is an innovative approach integrating strength training concepts and muscular balance for the rehabilitation of injured individuals.
T.J. is the acting Administrator and Partner at Derry Sports and Rehab in Derry, New Hampshire, and is well known and respected within the community.
Individual Staff Backgrounds
Gwendolyn Sippel, PTA earned her associates degree in Physical Therapy at Hesser College in 2004. Her passion is focused in Womenís Health and Pre and Post Pregnancy exercise. She continues her education by attending courses with her passion in mind and other orthopedic injuries. She is a certified aerobics instructor and has a true passion for exercise. In her free time she loves spending time with her husband and two beautiful girls. She especially loves the outdoors.
Bill Gould, PTA/COTA received his associates degree in Physical/Occupational Therapy from NHTI, Claremont NH in 1993. Bill has been working for 12 years in an outpatient/inpatient orthopedic setting and has recently joined the Derry Sports & Rehab team. Bill spends his free time enjoying the outdoors of New England, especially camping and fishing.
Sarah Guyer, OTR/L received her Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Boston University in 1991. She carries a Physical Agent Modality Certificate. Sarah began her career in acute rehabilitation. She advanced to clinical and operational oversight of a rehabilitation department. She also engaged in multi-disciplinary staffing for multiple contracts. The last four years, Sarah has worked in the outpatient sports rehabilitation environment. Sarah specializes in treatment of the elbow, wrist, and hand. Apart form her job; she enjoys time with her two sons.
Jennifer Ireland, DPT, earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northeastern University in 2007. Jennifer practiced at a private sports medicine and orthopedic clinic in Boston for a year before moving to NH. She is passionate about working with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics. Jennifer continues her education attending seminars on innovative treatments for shoulder, ankle, and spine injuries. Recently, Jen attended courses on Torticollis, Vertigo and Incontinence. Outside of the clinic Jen enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick, in Manchester working on their new house. Jen is very avid in volunteering throughout the community, as well as participating in charity events such as the Breast Cancer 3 Day.

Kevin Bugeau, ATC graduated from Springfield College in the spring of 2008 with a Bachelorís of Science degree in Athletic Training. He became part of the Sports & Rehab team in August of 2010, and is also the Head Athletic Trainer at Windham High School. He shares a strong passion for both sports and injury care, and enjoys the challenge of keeping young athletes healthy and safe, on and off the field.
Seth Stoddard, DPT In 2006, Seth earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Husson College in Bangor, Maine. He began working in the Physical Therapy Department of an acute care hospital and proceeded to Franklin Pierce University for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In 2010, he graduated Summa Cum Laude and accepted a position with Derry Sports and Rehab. His clinical interests would include conditions of the spine, knee, and shoulder. Outside the clinic, Seth enjoys the thrills of upper New England; including hiking the White Mountains, exploring the seacoast, and supporting local athletics (Manchester Monarchs/New Hampshire Fischer Cats). Seth concurrently resides in Manchester, NH and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Derry Sports and Rehab Staff
Nicole Niles, DPT started her career in the healthcare field in 2003 as a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. She continued on and pursued her interest in treating musculoskeletal disorders and received her Associates degree in Physical Therapy from Hesser College in 2004. She has been a practicing clinician in the outpatient field since that time. She has remained very active in the practice of Physical Therapy while furthering her academic career by attending Franklin Pierce University where she has received her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Nicole has special interests in TMJ, womanís health disorders, and manual therapy techniques. Most recently Nicole has become certified in the Graston Technique which incorporated a patented instrument that enables clinicians to effectively detect and treat scar tissue and restrictions that affect normal function. Outside of work Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending Bikram yoga classes, as well as participating in charity events such as Team in Training for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Jaclyn Brown, EP graduated from New England College in 2008 with a Bachelorís of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. While at NEC Jackie played four years of varsity field hockey, because of her love for sports and exercise she decided to follow a career in health and sports science. In the fall of 2008 she joined the staff of Derry Sports and Rehab as an exercise physiologist and is also the Pelham High School head JV and Assistant Varsity field hockey coach. She has had experience working with patients and athletes, leading them through exercise programs specific for their injury. Jackie expects to be a certified personal trainer by spring of 2011. Outside of work Jackie likes to be outdoors with her two dogs. She also enjoys fishing, boating, and camping. Jackie also participates in charity's such as the "Be The Match Foundation" and The BAA half marathon for Dana Farber. Supporting cancer research is a very important part of her life.
