T.J. Karanasios, PT, MBA

T.J. Karanasios, PT, MBA has been in clinical practice since 1990. He graduated from the University of New England school of Physical Therapy. He immediately began practicing at the same time as commencing his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University.

Over the years he has specialized in the field of orthopedic sports medicine. He is an active member of the New Hampshire chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association. T.J.’s expertise is an innovative approach integrating strength training concepts and muscular balance for the rehabilitation of injured individuals.

T.J. is the acting Administrator and Partner at Derry Sports and Rehab in Derry, New Hampshire, and is well known and respected within the community.

Certifications and Specialties:
Trigger point dry needling, Graston technique, Kinesiotaping, TMJ, Vestibular/vertigo, , torticollis, sports injuries, pre and post-surgical rehab, sprains/strains, tendonitis, motor vehicle and work-related injuries.

Gwen Sippel, PTA

Gwen graduated from Hesser College in 2004 with her associate degree in Physical Therapy.  Since then she has worked in the outpatient setting working with sports injuries and myofascial restrictions, women’s health and work-related injuries. She uses the combination of exercise, manual techniques and patient education to reach her patients goals.  She enjoys running and participating in local 5K’s.  In her free time, she enjoys hiking, working out and spending time with her family and 2 dogs. 

Certifications and Specialties: Graston, cupping, Kinesiotape, sports related injuries, post-surgical, sprains/strains, work and motor related injuries.

Nicolé Kelley

Nicolé has been practicing sports medicine since 1992, when she became certified as an Athletic Trainer.  She used this degree with several USA Gymnastics private clubs in NH and PA. She obtained her associate degree in Physical Therapy from Hesser College in 2000. She immediately began working in an outpatient orthopedic rehab setting. Here she honed her manual skills, focused on sports related injuries, pre-op and post-op. She also specializes in pre-op strengthening and post-op spine surgery.

In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, paddle boarding, cross country skiing and spending time with her friends and family.

Certifications: Performance Exercise Specialist, Exercise Correction Specialist, Titleist Performance Institute and Kinesio Taping

Jillian Witwicki

Jillian received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Saint Michael’s College in 2018, where she also captained the women’s ice hockey team. She continued her education at the University of New England, graduating with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2022. The majority of her clinical experience was spent in the outpatient setting where she enjoyed treating a variety of orthopedic and sports-related injuries. 

In her spare time, Jillian enjoys ice hockey, golf, and spending time with her family and friends.

Erin Dussault, Office Manager

Erin earned her certificate in Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy in 2007 from Seacoast Career Schools. Erin has worked in pain management, family medicine, and pediatrics. She has been working in healthcare for the past 7 years.

Outside of work Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys running and participates in many local races.

Stacey Bortle, Office Assistant

Stacey joined Sports and Rehab in September of 2018 as the front office assistant after working as a licensed manicurist for 20 years.

She is married with 2 children and has a love for fitness and tropical beach vacations with her family.
